If you are using an Raspberry Pi B Rev 1 board, you will need to go to the hardware settings and change the Right Motor Step Pin to #21. You will know if you have a Rev 1 board if there are no mounting holes. Also note that some of these original boards may only have 256 MBytes so you may be limited on the drawing size. Smaller pen widths cause more memory to be consumed (as the rendered image is scaled accordingly).
Below this post is an image to show the correct settings.
New kits sold after 10/8/2015 have the newest software that will help with some memory issues related to these Raspberry Pi Rev.1 boards. If by chance, you are using one of these Revision 1 boards already, you will need to burn a new image to your SD card. The instructions to download this new image (with Sketchy Version 1.1.0) can be found here: http://www.quickdrawbot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=56.
Please let me know if you have any questions or issues!
